SEMH Teaching Assistant | Birmingham, B60 | £85 - £10 per day | September 2024
We are looking for a committed and empathetic Teaching Assistant to join our partner primary school in Bromsgrove. This role provides a fulfilling chance to assist a young student with substantial SEMH needs, offering additional support to help them manage their behaviour. The school is looking for you to join them on a full-time basis from September, for the right candidate this can become a permanent position.
Responsibilities:
* Offer one-on-one support to a student with behavioural challenges and SEMH needs.
* Help foster a positive and nurturing learning environment.
* Collaborate with teaching staff to plan and implement strategies that encourage positive behavioural outcomes.
* Promote active participation and engagement in learning.
* Enhance the student’s overall wellbeing by providing targeted interventions to support their learning and development.
The ideal candidate will have:
* Experience in managing challenging behaviours and a strong understanding of behaviour management strategies.
* Experience working with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
* Passionate about helping children overcome challenges and reach their full potential.
