Your responsibilities as the Assistant Financial Accountant will include:
* Assist with the production of statutory accounts and regulatory financial reports.
* Assist the external auditors when required.
* Conduct detailed analysis and control of financial systems and ledgers.
* Assist with the preparation of quarterly and year-end reporting packages.
* Collaborate with various departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.
* Prepare technical and non-technical accounting transactions.
* Assist with internal and external reporting requirements.
* Assist with the production and development of monthly and ad-hoc management reports, including meaningful performance metrics.
* Develop and improve reporting processes.
* Prepare monthly journals.
* Undertake ad hoc project work.
* Provide cover and assist other members of the Finance team where necessary.
To be considered for the role of Assistant Financial Accountant, you will be:
* Studying towards ACA accountancy qualification.
* Strong analytical and numerical skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial software.
* Previous experience in a similar role and in Financial Services.
