Warehouse Operations Manager | Stoke on Trent | Retail, Distribution, Wholesale | c.£35k
Zachary Daniels Recruitment are delighted to have partnered with a leading UK’s supplier working in a specialist industry.
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Operations Manager who has the ability to lead a small team and . The role will require the Warehouse Manager to manage a small team.
The ideal candidate will have previous Warehouse Management experience and must have a valid and in date FLT license.
The role as Warehouse Manager:
* Provide constant positive leadership, training and coaching to motivate and develop your team.
* Supervise daily warehouse activities, including quality assurance, inventory control, space management, logistics, fulfilment, and productivity.
* Working closely with various departments within the business to ensure processes run smoothly.
* Deliver improvement plans and initiatives.
* Provide support and improve your team in terms of training, engagement, and teamwork.
* Drive your team to consistently produce high standards.
* Hold regular meetings with your team to review departments performance.
* Create a hardworking, positive culture.
* Provide feedback to your team.
* Ensure Health and Safety requirements are always met and followed.
* Inspect equipment, tools, and machinery regularly, and oversee general maintenance/calibration when necessary.
* Can perform and delegate stock control operations to maintain accuracy.
The ideal candidate:
* Experience working within a fast-paced environment
* Experience across E-comm, pallet and container distribution
* Experience Managing a small team in a similar environment
* Good Knowledge and awareness of Health and Safety procedures
* Approachable with the ability to motivate and develop teams/individuals
* A mechanical understanding is desirable
* FLT Licence is essential
