DESIGNER | MENS FASHION | MULTI PRODUCT | SOUTH WEST | £30,000 - £40,000 + BENEFITS
Join our dynamic design team and take your career to the next level. We’re seeking a talented Designer to help shape the future of our menswear collection.
AS THE MENSWEAR DESIGNER
* You’ll set out to work collaboratively with your wider design team, whilst forming a strong partnership to your buyers
* You’’ll proactively research new trends
* Naturally you will have an inquisitive eye on the market, staying on top of the competition
* Strong ability to "move on" best sellers, protecting what you know your customer loves
* Introduce and execute exciting new product along with your buying counterpart
* Experience with building and designing strong ranges by category
* Executing clear tech packs with your designs to the supply base
* Strong communication & annotation ability to ensure first sample is the right sample when working with your suppliers
* Proactively look to build and maximise your relationship with new & existing suppliers
* Look to source new fabrics and trims throughout every season
* Research & secure new emerging trends by regularly conducting competitor and newness shops
* Take the time to understand trade data and work into actions from weekly meetings with your buying team
* Work to a clear option count for upcoming ranges with your buyer and merch
* Support in fit sessions where possible & if required
DESIGNER REQUIREMENTS:
* Have minimum 2+ years experience within apparel
* Wovens & Jersey experience desired
* Ability to use Adobe Suite, Photoshop, InDesign
