Role Overview:
As a Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in expanding market presence and driving growth across renewable energy projects. Your strategic vision and industry expertise will be crucial in identifying new business opportunities, forging strong partnerships, and delivering sustainable solutions. Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute strategic business development plans to drive growth and achieve sales targets.
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the renewable energy market, including wind, solar, EV and other emerging technologies.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry influencers.
* Conduct market research and analysis to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes.
* Collaborate with internal teams to develop compelling proposals and presentations tailored to client needs.
* Lead negotiations and contract discussions to secure new projects and partnerships.
* Represent at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
* Monitor and report on the performance of business development initiatives, providing regular updates to senior management.
Qualifications:
* Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the renewable energy sector.
* Strong understanding of renewable energy technologies and market dynamics.
* Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
* Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and capitalise on market opportunities.
* Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and partners.

* Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, environmental science, or a related field (MBA or equivalent is a plus).
