Job Description:
Customer Service Assistant
Location: Epsom, Surrey (Offices will be moving across to Leatherhead October)
Salary: £23,000 - £27,000 + Benefits
Our client based in the heart of Epsom are recruiting for a Customer Service Assistant to join their fast-growing business. You will be working in a fun loving and friendly team supporting on everything customer service!
Our client is the leading distributor of high-quality medical devices and with an expanding range of products and services throughout the UK. They are looking for an organized, quick thinking, enthusiastic and efficient person to join their Customer Service Team of four to assist with the smooth daily running of our warehouse and office
Main areas of responsibility:
* Handling calls and enquires providing the best customer experience
* Customer Order Processing
* Perform Administrative tasks, supporting the sales team
* Maximize sales opportunities whilst dealing with customer enquiries
* Sort and prioritise emails from own and shared inbox
* Accurately input information from calls/emails into appropriate systems
* Prioritise tasks ensuring deadlines are met
* Supporting the warehouse team
Other experience/skills required:
* Friendly, articulate and professional with a confident telephone manner
* A positive, proactive and motivated person with a real desire to deliver excellent customer service.
* Someone with high standards, good organisational skills and great attention to detail
* Proficient use of Microsoft Office packages including Word and Excel
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
* Ability to prioritise work and be reactive.
* A minimum of 1 years Customer service experience
* Basic Sage/Salesforce knowledge desirable
* GCSE Maths and English grade 5 or above
The successful candidate will be encouraged to learn and improve their skills through internal training on the company’s products, processes, systems and web development.
