Primary School PE Teacher
Location: Barking | Start Date: September | Salary: £110-£180 (Dependent on Qualification)

We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated PE Teacher to join our enthusiastic team.
Position Overview:
We are looking for a versatile and energetic PE Teacher who will inspire our primary school students to develop a love for physical education and maintain an active lifestyle. The successful candidate will be responsible for general class cover on Mondays and Fridays and for PPA (Planning, Preparation, and Assessment) cover focusing on PE and another subject on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging and effective PE lessons that cater to the diverse needs of our primary school students.
* Provide general classroom cover on Mondays and Fridays, maintaining a positive and productive learning environment.
* Conduct PPA cover sessions on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, focusing on PE and an additional subject area.
* Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement a well-rounded PE curriculum.
* Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and professional development opportunities.
* Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for all students.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is highly desirable.
* Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs) are welcome to apply.
* Strong knowledge and passion for physical education and sports.
* Ability to teach an additional subject area effectively.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Commitment to continuous professional development and a willingness to take on new challenges.
