Job Description:
Horizon Teachers are working with a Primary school based in Lambeth assisting in their search for a Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant to start from September 2024. You will support a child with behavioural challenges.
The opportunity
* A long-term Teaching Assistant role which is likely to become permanent.
* Supporting a child on a 1:1 basis within a mainstream classroom.
* Develop a career in Education working alongside experienced and qualified Primary and SEN professionals.
* Daily rates up to £110 per day DOE.
* 5 minutes’ walk from a Central London train station.
Your experience
* A strong background in EYFS, Primary or Secondary setting.
* Experience working with children with SEND and complex behavioural needs.
* You have a proactive mindset and think on your feet during challenging situations.
* You demonstrate professionalism and discretion when dealing with sensitive matters, which might include personal care.
* Most importantly, you have a passion for working with children and a desire to build long-lasting, rewarding relationships.
