Our client, a leading firm of Chartered Accountants are seeking an Accounts & Outsourcing Manager to join their Bristol office.

Ideal for an ACA/ ACCA Qualified individual working in practice looking for the next step up in their career in an accounts focussed role.

You will be managing your own diverse portfolio of clients from an array of sectors (with a focus on SMEs and OMBs) with regular client liaison.

Part of the role will also involve managing/ mentoring a team of junior staff and reviewing their work so you will be technically proficient in FRS102.

The firm pride themselves on their staff having a very good work life balance with a 35 hour working week, the option of WFH 3 days a week, TOIL and flexible hours.

The Role:

Managing a client portfolio, acting as the main point of contact
Preparation and review of statutory accounts under FRS102
Preparation and review of management reporting packs
Mentoring junior staff and reviewing their work
Assisting with other ad hoc assignments
Business advisory work
Advising/ training clients on accountancy software
Providing technical support to Partners
Leading client meetings
Business development

You:

ACA/ ACCA Qualified
Experience of managing a client portfolio
Excellent working knowledge of FRS102
A strong background in UK accountancy practice
Good communication skills
