Interim Project Accountant | Hybrid | 3-6 Month Contract | Social Housing | North West


Castlefield Recruitment are working with a Housing Association based in Greater Manchester to recruit a Project Accountant on an interim basis. It’s a significant time for the organisation and they need an experienced project specialist to play a key part in the delivery of various process improvement initiatives. 

Role:


You will be the key contact within finance, working closely with the Financial Controller and the Project Reporting Manager, providing key financial information and challenging perspectives. 

Responsibilities;

* Creation of budgeting and forecasting models, building processes and procedural notes
* Monitoring the change portfolio business case and prepare and present updates to the business case as required
* Provide accurate and timely management reports and management information to the Change Team, the Portfolio Board, Exec Team and Board
* Maintaining accurate records of actual spend (revenue and capital), resource utilisation, and benefits realisation
Person:

The successful candidate:

* Accounting qualification would be beneficial (CIMA/ACCA/ACA)
* Gravitas to work with colleagues at all levels within the organisation
* Advanced Excel skills
