Robert Half Finance & Accounting are currently recruiting for a Finance Assistant to join a client based in central Bristol on a fixed term contract basis for 12 months. This is a brilliant opportunity to work for an employer with an excellent team environment and offers great flexibility with hybrid working.


Start Date: Ideally ASAP (However can wait for individuals on a notice period)

Duration: 12 Months

Salary: £25,000 - £27,000

Location: Central Bristol
Working hours & pattern: 35 hours a week, 1 - 2 days a week in the office per week
Responsibilities include:

* Raising invoices, credit notes & refunds
* Debt chasing responsibilities for your own ledger
* Monitoring the shared in-box
* Query resolution - providing customer service to internal and external stakeholders
* Payment posting & allocation
* Credit card reconciliations
* Assist the wider finance team to provide cover when needed .
Skills/Experience needed:
* Previous experience in a Billing/Cash collection role
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Ideally AAT or CICM qualified/studier
* Natural problem solver
* Team player
* Confident using Excel (Ideally pivot tables/VLOOK ups)
