Are you looking for a new Teaching position from September 2024?
Horizon Teachers are currently working alongside a SEND School in Barking & Dagenham who are looking to grow their team from September 2024, and appoint a Teacher to help teach their hand-working KS1 class until July 2025.
This school caters for Primary aged children that have Special Educational Needs and Physical Disabilities. You will be teaching a class of 7 children that have Autism and profound and multiple Learning Difficulties, and will be well supported in the classroom as many of the children have 1:1 support.
This school works hard to create and safe and nurturing environment for all children and staff work together to provide personalised support to help them reach their full potential.
The ideal experience for the SEND Teacher role:
* Recent experience of working with students that have Special Educational Needs and Learning Difficulties.
* Good understanding of different learning styles and behaviour of children
* Show ability to manage the class and deal with challenging behaviour.
* A history of contribution to school and team objectives, a team player.
