** Fixed Term Contract IFRS 9 Accountant opportunity with significant working from home **
Grafton Banks Finance is currently looking for a Group Financial Accountant for a well-known and respected company based in East Sussex, offering significant working from home opportunities.
This established team seeks a Qualified Accountant (ACCA or ACA) from an audit or financial accounting background and has a strong grasp of IFRS 9 Accounting standards. 
Reporting to the Head of Financial Reporting you’ll take responsibility for the following:
* Preparation of Statutory Financial Statements for the Group’s UK subsidiaries
* Ensuring that the retail lending business securitisation arrangement with the Special Purpose Entity is accurately accounted for and the completeness of financial reporting disclosures
* Assist the Group’s auditors to ensure that the year-end audit process runs smoothly.
* Provide IFRS technical accounting advice, with particular focus (but not limited to) on IFRS 9 to the accounting operations team, senior management and other stakeholders.
* Consider the accounting implications of transactions or changes to the operations of the Group and the retail lending company in light of these standards
You will have:
* Background in Technical accounting, strong working knowledge of IFRS 9, (ECL, Hedge Accounting and Securitisation) and Group reporting
or your experience in this 9 month contract you’ll be rewarded with a competitive salary (up to £60,000), plus bonus 10-20% and a very generous pension, flexible work pattern, work from home.
