An exciting new opportunity has arisen with my Poole based client. The role would suit a candidate used to working in a manufacturing, product, or distribution environment. The ideal candidate will have experience processing returns, either from a warehouse administration capacity or as a returns or product administrator.
Our business manufactures products for a wide range of customers. Product quality is a key element of our business, this role will play a vital part in assuring we maintain our high standards of product quality.
Job Overview
Supporting the Product team by analysing and processing quality and returns data to resolve customer queries and feedback improvements into the product development cycle.
Objectives
* Manage the product return process for National accounts with a long-term goal to minimise product returns.
* Work closely with the manufacturing team and factories to resolve product issues arising at inspection.
* Resolve customer queries and issues by providing responses on websites and portals.
* Proactively assist the product team in product improvement opportunities.
Key responsibilities
* Manage and maintain product return spreadsheets.
* Organise returned product delivery process and liaise with all relevant internal departments.
* Analyse product inspection reports, transfer and update relevant data into company systems.
* Work closely with Product developer to feedback QA findings for constant product improvements.
* Communicate all necessary findings to factories and manufacturing team via emails and weekly video meetings.
* Communicate with warehouse on product issues, QA procedures, quarantine and rework.
* Investigate customer queries and complaints and answer queries on online portals and via emails in a timely manner.
* Work independently and as part of the team to complete all necessary tasks.
* Maintain database records and update internal and customer systems.
* Build relationships with customer QA contacts.
* Provide support for product developer and product team across any other tasks or activities.
* Ability to complete tasks accurately and within deadlines.
Experience required
* Proficient in Outlook and Excel
* Good oral and written communication skills
* Confidence in communicating with external customers and internal stakeholders.
* Previous experience of working with product / distribution, or warehousing.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate work.
* Willingness to learn and adapt.
* Organised approach
Working Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm Monday to Thursday and 8:00am - 4:00pm Friday
