Job Description:
LTA / Reed Education are seeking a Year 2 Teacher for a Key Stage 1class in Pendle. The role is a temporary position, full-time 5 days per week to cover a one term position starting in September. There is a possibility that this position will continue into 2025.
Qualified Teacher Status and previous experience/strong knowledge of teaching Key Stage 1 is essential for this position.
Within this role, your main responsibilities will be:
· Preparing, planning, and delivering high standards of lessons to ensure the continuous development of our pupils
· Mark and monitor classwork, alongside setting targets for future progress
· Establishing and developing strong relationships with pupils, parents, colleagues, and carers
· Have a clear understanding of all the needs of all pupils
· Monitoring pupils progress in reference with the school’s practice
· Excellent behaviour management skills
