The Company
Able Bridge Recruitment have been privileged with the chance to work with one of Fifes most prestigious businesses in the support in the recruitment of a management accountant. The role has been a result of a recent acquisition of a business who compliment their service offering but who are based out with the local region.

The Responsibilities
The purpose of the role is to provide a support to the business in the provision of insightful management accounting support whilst aiding the finance team in the smooth running of the department.
On a day-to-day basis you can expect to be responsible for the following;
Completion of monthly management accounts including analysis and commentary.
Review of balance sheets and assurance that reconciliation are completed to reflect accurate finance position.
Manage a portfolio of WIP projects and ensure that forecasted costs and actuals are in line.
Budgeting and forecasting for a number of specific projects.
Management of cash flow forecasts for specific projects.
Support for the financial controller as required.
Assistance in the annual statutory return processes including VAT returns and tax returns.
Review and management of working capital through the review of creditors and debtors.
The Requirements
We appreciate that it is challenging for student/post study VISA candidates, however this role is a permanent post with no option for sponsorship. As such we are only accepting applicants from candidates who can work permanently in Scotland and who have experience of working in a finance function in Scotland.
We are seeking part qualified ACCA/CIMA accountants who are seeking a role within a dynamic and challenging environment. Strong IT and verbal/written communication skills are vital to be successful in this role.
The business that we are working with are high growth and are looking to expand exponentially and this is a perfect opportunity for an ambitious accountant to join a rapidly growing company.
