Company: ESS a part of Compass GroupLocation: Central London Position: Vending Contract ManagerSalary: £42,000ESS is seeking a dynamic and experienced Vending Contract Manager to oversee third-party sub-contractor operations within Vending and Detainee Feeding. This role ensures that our operations are delivered according to contract specifications and meet commercial delivery expectations for our clients. As part of the Met Police ESS management team, you will play a crucial role in overseeing contractors delivering vending and food services to frontline Met Police personnel and Met Police custody suits. Key Responsibilities: * Contract management with Selecta, Bid Food and any additional suppliers.
* Manage logistics partners delivering catering offers within Vending, Borough Hospitality, and Detainee Feeding.
* Produce weekly flash figures and monthly financial performance reports in conjunction with the Finance Business Partner.
* Provide a monthly client commercial pack, sharing performance metrics and KPIs for analysis.
* Oversee the vending estate, including product selection, technical support, and innovation.
* Manage day-to-day contracts with third-party sub-contractors.
* Handle all customer feedback within Vending and Detainee Feeding, responding to clients within 72 hours.
* Conduct regular performance meetings with suppliers.
* Continuously monitor technology and market trends to ensure the MPS contract is best in class and commercially efficient.
* Support the Contract Director in maximizing commercial opportunities across the contract estate.

* Previous catering operations experience.
* Self-starter with strong initiative and problem-solving skills.
