Job Description
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Physical Education (PE) Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will inspire and motivate students to develop a love for physical activity, promote a healthy lifestyle, and install the values of teamwork, perseverance, and sportsmanship.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan, deliver, and assess engaging PE lessons that cater to a diverse range of abilities and interests.
* Develop and implement a comprehensive PE curriculum that meets state and national standards.
* Organize and supervise extracurricular sports activities, clubs, and competitions.
* Monitor and support the physical, social, and emotional development of students.
* Ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all students during physical activities.
* Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community to support student achievement and well-being.
* Maintain accurate records of student progress and report on performance.
* Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in physical education.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education.
* QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) - We do accept ECTs
* Strong knowledge of physical education theory and practice.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to motivate and inspire students of all abilities.
* Commitment to creating an inclusive and positive learning environment.
* CPR and First Aid certification (preferred).
