English Teacher - Andover
A fantastic school in Andover is currently looking for an engaging English teacher who is committed to improving the exam results, progress, and engagement of pupils. If you’re ready for a new challenge, we’d love to hear from you. This role is to start as soon as possible, with flexibility for full-time or part-time hours and the potential for a temp-to-perm arrangement for the right candidate.
About the Role This role requires you to deliver well-planned lessons and create an engaging atmosphere. The school’s vision is to develop well-rounded citizens through a balanced curriculum and requires a dynamic teacher who can think on their feet and tailor lessons to the needs of the pupils.
English at the school gives students the chance to express their creativity through language and literature. We want students to enjoy their English lessons from the first moment they arrive.
The Ideal Candidate * Extensive experience teaching English at Key Stage 4 and GCSE.
* Strong teaching background.
* Available for interview and observation.
* Committed and proactive in engaging students.
* Must hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
