An exciting opportunity as a Part Qualified Accountant to join our clients finance team. Reporting into the Finance Manager, you will play a really key part in supporting as the systems Accountant whilst they implement onto their new ERP system. This will give you a huge amount of exposure, development and long-term opportunity within a really great business.
Being part of the team, you will need to have great organisation skills and excellent communication to ensure you work well across the business and as a team, achieve a successful transition!
What is your role?
Support the implementation of the ERP system using Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O
Once implemented manage the day to day running of the system including maintaining its integrity and performing reconciliations across all functions to ensure its accuracy;
* Maintaining the set-up requirements and controls within the ERP on a day-to-day basis
* Reconcile customer demand coming in with customer orders going out and the control processes in between
* Reconcile customer transactions to external bank and credit card payments and the associated control processes
* Control the sales ledger and investigate any unusual customer balances
* Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
* Manage the company’s cash flow
* Assist with the production of the monthly accounts and forecasts
* Help prepare the annual accounts and full supporting schedules ready for the annual audit
* Support the purchase ledger team when required
* Production of ad hoc reporting and financial analysis as required by the directors and senior management
Skills we need...
* Able to create a positive impression and provide support to at all levels within the company
* Ability to work with both finance and non-finance individuals to solve issues
* Able to analyse complex commercial data and provide structured conclusions and/or recommendation
* Strong communication skills, including literacy/report writing
* Willingness to challenge existing processes, controls and performance in a constructive manner and identify alternative/innovative solutions
* Very strong focus on accounting accuracy, integrity and completeness.
Qualifications & knowledge you will bring;
* Part Qualified ACCA / CIMA
* Proficient in Excel
* Experienced of Microsoft 365 or other similar ERP systems
* Excellent communication
* Time management and able to work to tight deadlines
* Flexible and approachable attitude
* Enjoy being part of a busy team
