Job Description:
Title: ROV Tooling Design Engineer
Introductory Paragraph:
Our client, who provides high-quality remote intervention tooling services in the renewable energy sector is looking to hire an experienced and skilled design engineer. The role involves ROV tooling design using CAD packages.
Skills and experience:
- Proven track record of working on designs related to remotely operated vehicles (ROVs)
- Proficient use of 2D and 3D Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software
- Solidworks Simulation and Mathcad experience, working knowledge of ANSYS
- ROV tools, including Torque Tools, Dirty Work Packs, Pressure Test Units, and Cut Off Saws
- Stress analysis of components and assemblies using Mathcad and Linear and non-linear FEA
