Hourly Rate: £11.44
Hours: 36 hours per week
Shift: Day Position (8:00 AM - 8:00 PM)
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our clients’ team in Pontefract. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assisting patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and eating
* Monitoring and recording vital signs
* Providing mobility support and assisting with physical therapy exercises
* Ensuring patients’ comfort and safety
* Maintaining a clean and hygienic environment
* Communicating effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
* Following care plans and reporting any changes in patients’ conditions to the nursing staff
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not essential
* A caring and compassionate nature
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work as part of a team
* Basic knowledge of healthcare practices and standards
* Flexibility to work the required hours
