About The Role
Purpose of the role
Based in a retail environment, an opportunity has arisen for a Security Officer to join the facilities management team. The successful candidate will form part of a forward-thinking team that deliver the very best in all areas of security, customer service and general facilities management.
You will be working on a 4-day-on-2-day-off shift pattern, 06:00 to 20:00, 42 hours per week, on a permanent, full-time basis.
Duties
* Carrying out regular patrols of the shopping centre and external areas
* Locking/unlocking of the premises
* Providing first-aid as and when required
* Responding to emergency situations
* Assisting with shoplifters
* Effectively dealing with the public and building positive customer relations
* Retailer liaison
* Carrying out health & safety checks
The above is not an exhaustive list of duties, and you will be expected to perform different tasks as necessitated with the changing environment. Candidate requirements
* SIA Licence
* Positive & professional attitude
* Excellent customer service
* Reliable
* Ability to work under pressure
* Sound judgement and integrity
Experience in a similar role would be advantageous.
