Role Overview:
They are seeking a dynamic Finance Manager to join its team. Reporting directly to the Senior Finance Manager, this pivotal role involves overseeing financial operations and managing a small team of direct reports.
Key Responsibilities:
* Leading and overseeing day-to-day financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
* Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
* Managing financial planning and analysis processes to support strategic decision-making.
* Supervising and mentoring a team of finance professionals, providing guidance and support as needed.
* Collaborating with other departments to optimize financial performance and drive business growth.
* Identifying areas for process improvement and implementing effective solutions.
* Performing ad hoc financial analysis and projects as required.
Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
* Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA)
* Proven experience in a managerial finance role, ideally within the sports or wellness industry.
* Strong understanding of financial principles and practices.
* Excellent leadership and communication skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
