Job Description:
Lettings Accounts Manager - Halesowen - up to £35k (Salary is Negotiable)
This is a great opportunity to join a leading independent Lettings and Estate Agent who have built up an impressive reputation over the last 30 years which has led them to being a highly respected brand in the area. Due to their current Lettings Accounts Manager retiring, they are now looking for an experienced and qualified Accounts person where your main duties will include collecting rent, paying invoices, contractors and landlords. Reconciliation of bank and lettings transactions, reporting to landlords, keeping track of and chasing any rent arrears, handling tenancy deposits, compiling and reporting monthly financial information for management and some industry compliance work.
? Posting rent, deposits and administration fees received onto tenants’ accounts
? Chasing rent arrears
? Assisting landlords and tenants with account related queries
? Posting and paying contractor invoices
? Assisting with the preparation of landlords’ monthly statements
? Bank account reconciliations
? Protecting deposits with the DPS and transferring funds
? Banking of cash and cheque receipts including petty cash
Requirements:
* Accounts experience essential
* Experience working in Lettings would be preferred but training will be provided
* Strong customer service skills
* Excellent communication skills
* Good IT skills/CRM systems.
* Strong organisational skills
* Ability to work on own initiative
Working hours - Monday to Friday 9am - 5.30pm but they can offer some flexibility and possible partial remote working.
