Job Description:
Administrator / Events and Bookings Administrative Assistant with excellent customer service, administration and communication skills is required for a Schools Trust, based in Leicester, Leicestershire.
This role is known within the organisation as a Lettings Administrator
SALARY: £23,048 - £24,113 pro rata
LOCATION: Leicester, Leicestershire (LE5)
JOB TYPE: Part-Time, Permanent
WORKING HOURS: 20 hours per week, 37.4 weeks per year

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for an Administrator / Events and Bookings Administrative Assistant with excellent customer service, administration and communication skills.
Working as the Administrator / Events and Bookings Administrative Assistant you will be the key point of contact for all lettings activities at the School, managing the booking platform, responding to client enquiries and ensuring smooth operations for all events and bookings.
As the Administrator / Events and Bookings Administrative Assistant you will collaborate with school principals and business managers, handle essential administration tasks, and play a vital role in promoting the schools as top-notch venues.
DUTIES
The Administrator / Events and Bookings Administrative Assistant will be instrumental in improving the client experience, overseeing logistical arrangements, and managing a dedicated team of caretakers. Other duties will include:
* Manage the booking platform, including client inquiries
* Process and manage expenses, invoices and purchase orders
* On-boarding and off-boarding of clients
* Improve the client experience through enhancements to the booking system and maintain clear communications
* Oversee logistical arrangements for all lettings
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
* Demonstrable experience of developing and maintaining administrative systems and procedures
* Excellent level of literacy and numeracy skills
* High level of competence using the internet, websites, word processing, data bases and other specialist resources/equipment etc
* Experience of supervising other administrative staff effectively including the allocation of work
* Excellent ability to communicate clearly and concisely both orally and in writing
* Excellent ICT skills and working knowledge of school management information systems
* Ability to work to a high degree of accuracy and pay attention to detail
* Ability to plan and manage own time effectively
* Ability to relate well to children and adults
* Ability to interpret information and to devise work guidelines for other staff
* Awareness of Health and Safety requirements within a school setting
