Job Description:
KS1 SEN Teaching Assistant | Full time | September Start | Long Term Role
We currently have an active vacancy in a local mainstream primary school, looking for an SEN Teaching Assistant to support students across KS1. This role is based in W6. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be supporting children on a 1:1 basis who struggle with communications and complex behaviour.
* KS1 Support
* 8:30am - 3:30pm, 5 days
* September 2024 start date
The role will be on a full-time basis starting in September 2024. The school has an outstanding reputation and aim to provide academic success to all pupils as well as constant progression.
Ideally candidates should have experience and knowledge in a classroom setting within the last 2 years. KS1 experience is essential. You should feel confident working with children on a 1:1 basis. You will need to be professional at all times, as well as friendly and enthusiastic. You will need to be able to communicate effectively with staff, children, and parents.
Role:
* Supporting SEN students 121
* Understanding how to support additional needs
* Working with other members of staff in the classroom
* Deliver interventions and support
* Reviewing and monitoring
