Grafton Banks Finance is working with a growing international listed business to recruit their new Group Reporting Manager.
This role will be part of a high calibre group finance team and will lead the groups external reporting and monthly group consolidation and month end group accounting process.
We are looking for a qualified chartered accountant (ideally trained in Top 10 accounting firm) who is skilled in group accounting and consolidations, is experienced reporting under IFRS, and has ideally worked in or with listed businesses.
Our client is based near Croydon and this role is hybrid working with 2 days per week in the offices. Salary is £90,000 + benefits including 10% bonus and private healthcare.
Key tasks:
* Responsible for the preparation of the annual report and the interim statements.
* Liaise with external advisers and external auditors on accounting matters.
* Prepare monthly group consolidation and manage month end group accounting process .
* Responsible for month end close process across the Group.
* Responsible for bank covenant reporting and cash flow statement preparation.
* Preparation of statutory accounts for UK companies.
* Act as a point of contact for technical accounting queries within the group.
* Support on matters of UK taxation.
* Key contact in finance team for the group consolidation system.
A high level of attention to detail, written and verbal communication skills, and Excel are essential. Experience of managing staff would also be useful but isn’t essential. This business is growing, with plans to triple their revenue in the next 5 years, there will be opportunities to develop and progress in the finance team.
