Job Title: Procurement and Travel Analyst
Function/Department: Procurement
Location: London (preferred) / Nottingham - Hybrid working - 1 or 2 days a week in the office
Role Summary: This role is pivotal in providing process support, management, and analytical insight for my clients Travel Management and Procurement Team, with responsibilities split equally between both areas. This is a great role for someone early on their career journey looking to grow and develop into the Procurement world.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver high-quality results swiftly, delighting our internal customers, minimizing costs, and maximizing commercial benefits.
* Aid Category/Senior Category Managers in developing Category Strategies using data and insights.
* Manage the Contract Database and Renewals Calendar effectively.
* Compile Spend Reports, Contract Analysis, and Spend Classification to support Category Managers.
* Oversee "Tail Vendor" supplier and spend management.
* Provide ad hoc contractual and data support to Procurement Category Managers.
* Assist the Global Travel Manager in the daily administration of the company travel program.
* Deliver exceptional administrative support with a strong customer service focus, facilitating smooth interactions with internal colleagues and external service providers.
* Identify opportunities to optimize costs and services within the travel management spend.
* Demonstrate superb organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
Key Skills:
* Advanced Excel and data manipulation skills (Pivot tables/VLOOKUP’s).
* Experience in travel and procurement is advantageous but not essential.
* Excellent stakeholder management and organizational abilities.
* Capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work at a fast pace.
* Strong attention to detail and numerical proficiency.
* Ability to summarize information quickly and concisely.
