Reception Administrator
Based in Haddington
£12 - £12.65 per hour + holiday pay
Reed Business Support are pleased to be working with a Non-Profit based in Haddington who are looking to a recruit a Reception Administrator on a temporary basis until at least the end of August. In the role, you will be responsible for working on a shared reception desk, communicating with customers, and providing general administrative support.
This is an opportunity to join a friendly, modern employer in a role that has the potential to become longer-term or permanent.
* Mon - Thu (9am - 4:30pm) Fri (9am - 4pm)
* 35 hours per week
* Office based
* Start date: ASAP
Key responsibilities:
* Answering incoming calls to the office, providing support where possible or passing to the relevant member of staff (15 - 20 calls per day)
* Helping to manage to the shared office inbox
* Handling incoming post and passing to the relevant team
* Scanning and filing documents
* Dealing with room booking system
* Printing documents
* Ordering supplies and stationary for the office
* Dealing with mail merges and communications to customers
* Entering information on Excel spreadsheets
* Dealing with limited face-to-face enquires, occasionally taking payments from customers
* Maintaining a clean, tidy reception area
* Various ad hoc admin duties
Person specifications:
* Previous experience working as an Administrator, or in a similar role
* Previous experience dealing with customers in some capacity
* Excellent communication skills and confidence speaking with members of the public
* Good organisational skills
* Good IT skills - mainly Microsoft Office
