Job Description:
Maths Teacher
* Location: Leeds
* Salary: £150~220
* Job Type: Full-time, Temporary~Permanent
We are seeking an enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join a supportive school in Leeds. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated educator with a passion for teaching Maths across Key Stages 3 and 4. The role is full-time and available for one term initially starting in September 2024. The role will become permanent for the right candidate.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Deliver engaging and inspiring lessons in Maths to students in KS3 and KS4.
* Develop lesson plans and instructional materials that cater to varying levels of ability.
* Assess and record students’ progress and provide grades and feedback.
* Maintain discipline in accordance with the school’s procedures and encourage good practice with regard to punctuality, behaviour, standards of work, and homework.
* Update all necessary records accurately and completely as required by school regulations.
* Participate in department, school, and parent meetings.
* Communicate necessary information regularly to students, colleagues, and parents regarding student progress and student needs.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Proven ability to teach Maths across KS3 and KS4.
* Ambitious and enthusiastic about delivering the subject.
* Strong classroom management skills.
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
* Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS disclosure
