Job Description:
A highly ambitious service group based in the heart of Sevenoaks, Kent is looking to hire a Finance Manager/Bookkeeper, ideally AAT qualified to join them initially for a 6 month contract. This role is office based 5 days a week, reporting to the Head of Finance and overseeing the accounts team. As Finance Manager you will:-
Duties of the Finance Manager Role:
* Oversee the sales and purchase ledger and assist the team with any queries
* Month end reconciliations
* Allocating cash received to the correct client account
* Producing monthly reports
* Monthly VAT returns
* Accruals and prepayments
* Cashflow forecasting
Requirements of the Finance Manager Role:
* Ideally AAT qualified or exceptional QBE
* Strong Excel and systems skills
* Knowledge of double entry bookkeeping
* First rate communication skills
* Highly organised
