£90,000 - £110,000 + bonus + benefits
The Company
A Pricing Managerposition has been createdat this leading Silver Circle Legal Services group. Operating within the UK, European and Australasian markets, they have developed an enviable reputation for outstanding professional services and delivering innovative products and service solutions. Enjoying continued growth through service and market development, the business has established a fast-growing specialist Practice Group now looking to expand its team supporting large corporate clients.
Key Responsibilities of the Pricing Manager
* Collaborate with Regional Heads of Practices to shape and influence practice group strategies and priorities, ensuring alignment with the global pricing function’s plans and service offerings
* Create a framework that directs team members’ focus towards activities delivering optimal outcomes and maximum value to the firm
* Assist in training and sharing expertise with members of the Pricing team
* Ensure high-quality strategic and tactical pricing support for practice groups during high-value tenders and matter pricing requests
* Act as an advisor to Partners by providing concise data, recommendations, and negotiation strategies for significant pricing decisions
* Identify opportunities to enhance practice group pricing execution capabilities, including developing and implementing relevant tools, guidance materials, and development programs
Skills & Attributes of the Pricing Manager
* Prior experience of pricing within the legal sector is viewed as essential (either as part of a Pricing or LPM team)
* Demonstrable knowledge of alternative fee arrangements and pricing legislations
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Commercially agile with the ability to grasp difficult concepts quickly
* Experience of successful interactions with clients on pricing - both to understand client needs and also direct negotiations on behalf of the firm
* Able to build relationships and influence all levels of seniority
* A recognised professional accountancy or pricing qualification (preferred but not essential)
