The Just Recruitment Group are currently recruiting for a Transport Logistics Planner/ Warehouse operative on behalf of our client based in Chelmsford.

You will be responsible for unloading goods in vehicles, working in stores, picking and collating pallet loads, loading vehicles for delivery and planning delivery routes for vehicles.

You will be working closely with the production supervisors to group loads together by geographical area for best use of vehicle.

39 hours per week - 8am to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday and 8am to 3.30pm Friday. Some overtime available.

Duties include:

· Operate forklift to load and unload materials
· Stack and organize products in a safe and efficient manner
· Plan transport routes and co-ordinate deliveries with drivers
· Coordinate with production and sales departments to ensure deliveries meet customer
requirements.
· Perform routine maintenance checks on forklift equipment
· Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
· Record Goods Receipts on computer system

Qualifications:

· Valid forklift operator certification
· Must have transport coordination or similar roles preferred.
· Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
· Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
· Attention to detail and accuracy in task completion.
· Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and schedules.
· Proven experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or similar setting

Ability to drive a 7.5 ton vehicle would be an advantage
