Financial Controller £80,000 - £100,000 - Oxford
Financial Controller (Permanent)
Robert Half are working with an incredibly unique, yet exciting business based in Oxford to recruit an ambitious and hands-on Financial Controller to join their SLT.
The role is the perfect blend between BAU controllership duties and value-add project-based work such as automation; systems implementations; improving MI and preparing business cases.
***PROGRESSION OPPORTUNITY***
The business are incredibly inquisitive and therefore have a number of upcoming acquisitions that will enable this opportunity to grow and scale - this would suit an ambitious individual that has the ability to step-up in coming years to form part of the board.
Key Duties:
* Overseeing the day-to-day running of the finance function and leading a small team of 3x who are responsible for daily transactions and assisting with month-end procedures
* Managing and leading on the annual audit
* Pulling together monthly management accounts and consolidation of multiple entities
* Pulling together annual budget and presenting to the Board
* Preparing financial statements
* Profitability analysis
* Cash-flow forecasting
* Preparing business cases
* Continuous improvements and streamlining processes
Your Profile
* Qualified ACCA, CIMA or ACA
* Experience of managing audits/year-end preparation
* Previous line management experience
* Advanced Excel skills
