Diesel Generator Service Engineer | Salary 38-45k 
South London Based | Monday - Friday | 40 Hours Per Week

Cherry Professional are currently working with a industry leading family owned Engineering company. We are recruiting for a Diesel Generator Service Engineer to join a rapid growing team.

What we are looking for:

- Experience in servicing Diesel generators is highly advantageous but not essential
- Time served as Mechanical/Electrical engineer or qualified to NVQ level 3
- Familiar with electronics & mechanical components (including engines and Alternators)
- Be able to understand and complete risk assessments
- Any experience in a mobile engineering position is preferred
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills
- The capability to deal with a variety of customers from different industries

Key responsibilities:

- Performing both planned and reactive service and maintenance of Dieselgenerators
- Conducting fault diagnosis and carrying out breakdown repairs
- Collaborating with Service Coordinators at our head office for efficient planning
- Troubleshooting and resolving system issues
- Participating in the regional on-call rotation (approximately 1 in 6 on average)
- Adhering to the company’s H&S, environmental, and quality management systems
- Accurate recording keeping using the company’s bespoke management system
- Working closely internally, to ensure jobs are within budget and on time
