Job Description:
Responsibilities:
*Coordinate and oversee the end-to-end transportation process for Air/Sea Freight shipments, from origin to destination.
*Negotiate rates and contracts with carriers and service providers, ensuring competitive pricing and service levels that meet customer expectations.
*Arrange for the timely and accurate documentation of shipments, such as bills of lading, customs declarations, and transportation contracts, in compliance with relevant regulations.
*Monitor and track shipments, providing regular updates to clients on the status and resolving any issues or delays that may arise.
*Coordinate customs clearance processes, working closely with customs brokers to ensure compliance with import/export regulations and documentation requirements.
*Maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing their inquiries, providing solutions, and ensuring their satisfaction with our services.
*Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost savings, and operational efficiencies within the Ocean/Sea Freight transportation department.
Requirements
*Minimum 1 year of experience in Air or Ocean Imports
*Has good knowledge of all aspects of shipments (Imports from point of origin to destination
*Has knowledge and experience of customs procedures and documentation
*Has confident and effective communication skills (verbal and via email), with the ability to build relationships with customers
*Has full knowledge of all Incoterms as appropriate to Imports
*Can collaborate with the customer to provide the best service available within the time constraints provided & can consistently meet deadlines in a timely manner
Benefits
*Salary Range - 30k to 38k (Depending on Experience)
*Mon to Friday Shift Pattern - 9 to 17:30
