* Shift Times: 8pm to 8am
* Paid Breaks
* Contracted Hours: 33 to 44 per week
Job Description:
As a Care Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents. You will provide high-quality personal care and support, promoting independence and dignity at all times. Your responsibilities will include:
* Assisting residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
* Supporting residents with mobility and physical exercises.
* Providing companionship and emotional support.
* Assisting with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
* Monitoring and recording health-related information.
* Assisting with medication administration.
* Ensuring a clean and safe environment.
* Responding promptly to resident calls and emergencies.
* Participating in team meetings and training sessions.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a care assistant role is preferred but not essential.
* A compassionate and empathetic nature.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
* A valid DBS check (or willingness to undergo one).
