Job Description:
Lead Technical Architect - Inside IR35 - 12 Months
Loriens leading public sector client is growing and looking to recruit a Lead Technical Architect on a 12month contract. The position is fully remote with the rare/odd trip to the Edinburgh office.
The Lead Technical Architect will be responsible for delivering enterprise-wide technical architectural solutions resulting in supporting current and future IT solutions.
Responsibilities:
* Develop accessible target state architectures and technology recommendations that technology platform(s) and support strategic goals.
* Articulate recommendations clearly to senior management, based on knowledge of IT and analysis of business and technical needs.
* Work with technical IT leads and IT operations colleagues to drive a program of technology improvement and innovation.
Hands-on experience and a broad and comprehensive knowledge of IT infrastructure including:
* VMWare vSphere technology
* IP Networks
* Azure Cloud Computing
* Redhat Linux Operating Systems
