I’m looking for a Data Scout to join our client’s Data team. This role offers the chance to work in a fast-paced environment where data plays a crucial role in providing a competitive edge against their competitors.
THE COMPANY:
They are an investment management firm based in the UK, authorised and regulated by the FCA. The firm is also registered with several financial authorities in the US and is a member of the National Futures Association (NFA). Their team operates globally, with offices globally and over 200 employees.
THE ROLE:
They are seeking an experienced Data Scout to improve their data practices, policies, and platforms. This role involves direct interaction and relationship-building with technology teams, and key data consumers, serving as subject-matter expert. You will steer stakeholders towards the added value of enhanced data capabilities, with exposure to a wide variety of data types used in alpha-generation across multiple asset classes.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
The ideal Data Scout will have:
* Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
* Ability to work independently and make decisions based on data analysis.
* Strong problem-solving skills and strategic thinking
