Job description: We are working with a law firm in Yorkshire who are looking for an experienced Employment Locum.
You will be responsible for handling a generalist employment caseload; whilst dealing with both contentious and non-contentious employment matters.
You will have a “can do” attitude and able to step straight in, working previously with claimant and respondent work.
You will play an important role in the team in helping to achieve objectives and in fostering team spirit; you will be personable and keep employer clients on board.
The successful candidate will be dealing with:
* Managing a generalist employment caseload including claimant and respondent work
* Handling settlement agreements
* Managing contentious and non-contentious employment matters
* Will have a full-time secretary
* Digital dictation system experience
Essential Skills:
* Good knowledge of law relevant to Employment matters
* Competent in the use of Microsoft word and outlook
* Experience of meeting directly with clients, either face to face or over the phone
* Admitted solicitor or legal executive or equivalent
Hourly rate: Negotiable
Hours per Week: 35 hours, Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm
