Global Accounting Network are currently partnered exclusively with a family run manufacturing and distribution business based in the heart of the west end of London to recruit for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their established finance team, supporting the treasury function. This is a great permanent opportunity for somebody to grow their career within finance and to develop their skill-set supporting a business-critical function with managing cashflow and payments.
Duties in this Accounts Assistant job will involve monitoring and reporting the daily cash position of the company, monitoring the debtor financing facility, bank reconciliations including for multi-currency accounts, processing employee expense payments, processing UK and overseas payments, managing monthly FX updates, working with brokers to purchase currency, producing cashflow forecasts and other ad-hoc tasks to support the Treasury Manager and wider finance team.
This Accounts Assistant job is an ideal role for an individual who has gained some core finance experience, who has an insight into a treasury function or a desire to develop in this area. This could suit somebody studying a finance qualification (AAT, ACCA, CIMA) or also somebody studying or wishing to study ACT. Individuals should be keen to learn and show great attention to detail.
