Global Accounting Network are currently partnered exclusively wit a leading Property Business to recruit for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their expanding team. The company has recently acquired a number of new businesses that will increase the revenue for the group function and this newly created role is a fantastic opportunity for an Accounts Receivable professional to progress their career. This is initially a 6 month fixed-term contract with the potential to become a permanent position.
This Accounts Receivable job will involve taking responsibility for managing a large portfolio and reporting directly into the Head of Transactional Finance. Duties will include but not be limited to ensuring invoices and credit notes are posted within the month-end close down timetable, lliaising with colleagues and with clients to resolve any unallocated balances, processing re-allocations as advised by the regional Finance teams, daily reviewing and posting of incoming client funds, posting and updating of the client account ledgers, daily bank reconciliations, ensuring invoices and credit notes are VAT-compliant, ensuring accurate VAT coding of invoices and credit notes, overseeing the deferral of revenue in line with billing cycle to recognise revenue within appropriate period ,forecasting incoming cashflows based on expected receipts and other ad-hoc duties.
Suitable candidates for this Accounts Receivable job will have previous experience in receivables, will be a great team player and an autonomous individual who can manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Strong Excel skills are essential, as is an ability to take full ownership of this area of finance.
