Our client, a prestigious secondary school renowned for its commitment to diversity and inclusion, is seeking a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) with expertise in English as an Additional Language (EAL) and English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) to join their dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:
* Provide tailored support to students with EAL/ESOL needs, fostering their language acquisition and academic success.
* Collaborate with classroom teachers to adapt curriculum materials and delivery to meet diverse linguistic needs.
* Conduct assessments to gauge students’ language proficiency and track their progress over time.
* Offer pastoral care and guidance to EAL/ESOL students, promoting their social integration and wellbeing within the school community.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as an HLTA, preferably with a focus on EAL/ESOL support.
* Strong understanding of language acquisition principles and strategies for English language learners.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for working with diverse student populations.
* Ability to adapt teaching approaches to accommodate varying levels of language proficiency and learning styles.
* Commitment to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion in education.
