Job Description:
About The Role

You will be working Monday to Friday and weekend availability, 25 hours per week, on a permanent, part-time basis.
Main Duties & Responsibilities of the Role:
* Daily litter pick of car park, pedestrian walkways and shrubbery bordering car park.
* Empty bins daily, replace with fresh bin liner and dispose of bagged waste in collection point.
* Sweep pedestrian walkways as per schedule.
* Litter pick service yard.
* Litter pick grass bank areas.
* Report any defects to site security.
* Report any maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor.
* Remove litter, debris, and graffiti from external areas.
* Use appropriate tools and equipment such as pressure washers and cleaning solutions and machinery e.g. Road Sweeper and Scrubber Dryer (all training provided)
Health & Safety accountabilities:
* Communicate regularly with colleagues through formal and informal channels on safety matters to ensure that there is a free flow of ideas, and that morale remains high.
* Ensure that the OCS safety image is reflected positively through your actions and those of your colleagues.
* Ensure that personal H&S competence and skill level is maintained i.e. attended Managing Safety programme and other Company safety events.
* Take responsibility for ensuring that plant and equipment is maintained and fit for purpose.
* Ensure that work activities are properly managed and supervised.
Requirements:
* No experience, necessary, full training can be given.
* Able to work with little supervision and ensure that tasks are completed within the allocated timescales. This is an outdoor working environment year-round.
* Driving Licence is favourable but not essential.
* Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
* Physically capable to work outside all year round.
