Job Description:
Data Centre Technician| SC Clearance | IaaS |MTP Fiber l ITIL l Data Centre l £200-250 PD l Outside IR35 l 6 months l Fully Remote
Method Resourcing are partnering with a global defence organisation looking for a Data Centre Technician to maintain infrastructure across multiple IaaS data centres.
What you’ll be doing:
* Prepare and install new transmission paths to support IaaS records for configuration management
* Plan, Install and Configure rack mounted equipment to deliver to other SDM’s
* Provide expertise on the implementation of physical security for IaaS data centres
* Develop solutions to increase IaaS capacity
The successful candidate will have experience with:
* Detailed experience with: * Data Centre Cabling and Infrastructure
* MTP Fiber Installations
* Rack and Aisle buildout and installation
* ITIL Foundation Certification
* Proven experience with Microsoft Sharepoint
* Previous experience within Military or defence.
Contract:
* Outside IR35
* 6-month Initial Term
* Fully Remote
* £200-250 per day
* MUST have Valid SC Clearance or higher
