Full Time - Permanent
Salary - £32,000 negotiable depending on skill set and experience
We have an exciting opportunity as a Registered Service Manager joining a very reputable, well established care provider.
As the Registered Service Manager you will oversee the respite service, which is designed for individuals with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, and challenging behaviours. This pivotal role involves managing the support of at least 45 individuals annually, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care while adhering to regulatory standards.
Previous experience as a Registered Manager is essential.
The Registered Service Manager will work in close collaboration with all of the registered managers to ensure that all staff and service locations maintain compliance with regulatory standards, contractual compliance standards, and policies and procedures.
Responsibilities will include -
Upholding excellent standards of care and support delivered by the staff employed in the service.
Responsible for sound governance, health and well-being of both staff and service users.
Ensure that the Health & Safety and Risk Management is in daily practice in all locations.
To be visible, communicate and listen to the staff and people we support and their representatives at all times.
To contribute and collaborate as a member of the Registered Managers management team.
To ensure the completion of accurate rota and timesheet information using recognised systems
To be responsible for all individual assessments, including new referrals being completed according to the Commissioner’s policy and procedures linked to the Service Level Agreement.
Experience required for the role -
In depth knowledge of care provision
Knowledge of LD & MH support in relation to accommodation and community provision
Experience of working at middle management level with budgetary and workforce recruitment responsibilities as well as staff training
Experience in the development and implementation of service delivery plans, policies, procedures/process and systems development
Experience of quality monitoring and CQC assessments
Experience of working with Local Authority and Healthcare Commissioners and the implications of local frameworks and other non-framework contracts
