Workshop Manager| Alfreton | Salary £42,000
Cherry Professional are currently working with a market leading Manufacturing company. They are looking for a Workshop Manager to join their close knit and thriving team.
Responsibilities: * Manage workshop Technical Assistants
* Ordering materials
* New Product Development
* Resolving any escalated issues regarding stock and deliveries
* Carry out product training to staff as and when required to increase product knowledge
* Maintaining knowledge of technology and identification of potential products
* Managing activities in the New Product Introduction process related to market requirements, launch, and technical specifications
* Coordinating product launch plans with sales and marketing
* Promoting products in the marketplace and providing technical support during the sales process
* Providing competitor analysis, price positioning, and commercial forecasts
* Building and maintaining constructive relationships with colleagues and business management
* Inspect and survey properties and organise remedial action
* Records and reports produced as required
* Queries logged from installers, householders, architects and internal sources.
* Ensure team compliance training is up to date and recorded as required
Ideal Candidate: * Strong background in product management and new product introduction in a technical/engineering discipline
* Experience in proactive interfacing and communication with marketing, training, sales, and customer service
* Strong analytical and critical reasoning skills with effective decision-making abilities
* Excellent communication and networking skills with the ability to influence and motivate
* Awareness of business environment, markets, customers, and financial considerations
