My client is an international FMCG manufacturer as is looking to recruit an Logistics Specialist to assist the continued growth of its E-Commerce logistics operations.
As the Logistics Specialist you will have responsibilty for overseeing the end-to-end logistics process for their e-commerce operations, including contract management, inventory management, order fulfilment, and shipping.
You will also take the lead and manage e-commerce projects, monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability and reduce excess inventory and ensure timely and accurate processing of customer orders, coordinating with warehouse staff and external logistics partners.
Liaising with shipping carriers to negotiate rates, track shipments, and resolve any shipping issues whilst Identifying and implementing improvements to logistics processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
You will be a Logictics Specialist with experience gained ina fast paced B2B or B2C environment ideally retail or E-Commerce related.
A srtrong understanding of inventory control and supply chain principals is essential along with good ERP Skills.
