Job Description:
Our client is a well regarded and award winning business operating within the Healthcare Sector with over 20 facilities based across the UK and Head Office ideally situated in North Leicestershire
As part of the companies continued expansion, FRS have been enlisted to assist with the recruitment of a Company Accountant / Management Accountant to join the business.
This position will work closely with Finance & Operations Director taking the day to day ownership of all things accounting for this dynamic group.
• Assist with the day to day leadership of Finance & Payroll Depts for the group.
• Production of monthly management accounts with commentary and analysis to directors
• Prepare and post month end journals, maintain prepayment and accrual schedules
• Full maintenance of fixed asset register
• Evolve current KPI’s & MI to enable business performance to be monitored.
• Management of company bank accounts and ensure smooth company cash flow.
• Provide cashflow forecasts
• Ensure team are maintaining efficient credit management and direct debits.
• Balance sheet and bank reconciliations
• Inter-company accounting, recharges and balancing
• Oversea team responsibility for Purchase, Sales General Ledgers
• Monitor weekly and monthly payrolls (PAYE) for up to 2500 employees
• Ad hoc duties working with Finance & Operations Directors improving company performance.
The ideal candidate will be formally qualified (AAT / ACCA / CIMA / ACA) with at least 3-5 years’ experience gained within a similar position.
Those that are QBE or Part Qualified but do have demonstrated experience within a similar role will be considered, however.
A good level of IT Literacy to include MS Excel to include Pivots and Look Ups are essential and knowledge of Sage Line 50 / Sage Line 200 and Sage Payroll highly desirable
Previous experience gained within the Healthcare, Care Home, Private Hospitals is a major advantage.
In return this role promises to be both varied, challenging and progressive with great benefits and a basic salary of £45,000 to £55,000 + Bonus being offered DOE.
